Session 2: November 4, 2025
Staying Connected in the Digital Age
This module provides an overview of how digital communication and social media have transformed how we interact and communicate. Participants will learn how tools like email, video calls, messaging apps, and social networking platforms enable innovative ways of connecting with loved ones and communities. The session also emphasizes online safety, covering topics such as setting up secure profiles, recognizing scams, and avoiding misinformation. Session 3: November 18, 2025
Health and Wellness in the Digital Era
Participants will explore how technology supports health and well-being. With over 20 years of experience in higher education and business development, Terry is a dedicated Professor and Program Coordinator at Centennial College’s Centre for Legal and Administrative Studies. He specializes in leading comprehensive program reviews, enhancing technical and soft skill curricula, and supporting the growth of students and faculty. Terry has introduced pioneering initiatives at Centennial, including the Apple OS program and global anti-human trafficking projects. Beyond academia, he has consulted for high-profile clients such as the Government of Canada, Bell Canada, and the Canadian Diabetes Association. A champion of leadership and technological innovation, he has driven educational advancements throughout his career, earning nominations for prestigious awards like the provincial Academic Leadership Excellence Award. Passionate about simplifying and teaching life-enhancing technologies, Terry continues to inspire and empower through practical education.
